Heather Facey

Heather is an Attorney-at-Law of the Supreme Court of Jamaica specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law, Lending, Finance and Conveyancing.

Born Heather Sykes in England in May, 1966, Heather attended the University of the West Indies where she completed a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts (Mona Campus) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Cave Hill Campus), both with Honours. She then attended the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica.

Heather has been involved in financing transactions for Citibank N. A., borrowing transactions for National Baking Company and acquisitions for the Sandals Group, among several other finance and security related transactions. Heather has represented one of the largest public companies in Jamaica in their money remittance and bill payment businesses known as Grace, Kennedy Remittance Services Limited, one of the fastest growing and most lucrative arms of Grace Kennedy Limited. Heather has also recently completed an extensive trade related research project on behalf of Jamaica Broilers Limited.

Heather is married and has three (3) children. Previously involved in modeling and body building, she is now an avid runner, having competed in the New York, Boston and Chicago Marathons, placing in the top 2% of women and top 7% overall in the 2006 Chicago Marathon and in top 1% of women and top 5% overall in the 2008 New York Marathon.
